Title: What can I do about Windows XP hanging up on a long file name?

I saved the file from a browser, but the saved file name is so long I can neither open it nor delete it - basically it's stuck. It reads, "Can't access this folder. Path is too long."

can you currently locate the folder or disk where the file is currently saved? if yes download a small app called "unlocker" install it and use to rename your doc to something shorter.

I think you can try this software http://longpathtool.com/ it's really an software for too long file name.
