New Facebook Hash Tag: How To Use The New Facebook Hash Tag
Facebook, in a mission to re-invent itself and join trends used in engaging its users, have introduced the Facebook Hash Tag.
The Hash Tag was and is still popular with Micro blogging website twitter. Before now, the Hash Tag was really unique to twitter and was used extensively by its users to generate topics which eventually turn out to become trends.
Facebook said it will begin to roll out the feature on its social network, making it easier for users and advertisers to find hotspots of user activity around specific events or topics.
Similar to other services like Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or Pinterest, hashtags on Facebook allow you to add context to a post or indicate that it is part of a larger discussion. When you click on a hashtag in Facebook, you'll see a feed of what other people and Pages are saying about that event or topic.
The Hash Tag which appears as the # symbol enables users to follow specific topics of conservation within a social network's ever-changing stream of user comments.
A hashtag is like a pound sign ("#") followed by the topic's name or a relevant keyword, without spacing. A hashtag for wesaytech, for instance, would be "#Wesaytech.com" or better still "#Wesaytech".
