Oh well, old habit are hard to change, unlike the earlier versions of Windows, Microsoft has removed the Run command feature from the Start Menu in Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Anyway, one thing to be noted you can always get to the run menu by just hitting ?Win + R? on the keyboard for all the Windows version including Windows 7 and Vista.
Otherwise, if you are like me and want it back in the Start Menu, there is a simple way to restore this traditional familiar functionality to the Start Menu. Just follow the 4 simple steps below to restore the Run command back in the Start Menu.
Step 1. Right Click on the Start button, and, select Properties.
Step 2. Now, Click on the Start Menu tab, and, press the Customize? button.
Step 3. Look for Run Command option from the lists.
Step 4. Click on the check box next to Run Command to enable it. Press OK twice to apply the setting.
The ?Run?? is now available on the lower right corner of the Start Menu.
