The Reluctant Alphas Reluctant Luna Novel Synopsis
Warning: story may not be suitable for all readers, contains strong language, child molestation etc.As the younger son of the alpha of the Crimson Phoenix Pack, Dylan had never wanted to be an alpha. No.
He’d always wanted to become an accountant, maybe work for his father’s pack and live a comfortable life.
But all that changed the night he had his first turn and discovered that he was a born alpha and very nearly attacked his own brother who was the pack alpha.
Eventually, Dylan became the alpha of his own pack.
The neighboring Silver Creek Pack became Dylan’s pack after the defeat of the previous Alpha, Alistair Evans.
But Dylan’s been hiding a secret. A secret that isn’t going to stay hidden for long.
Alyssa, four years his senior and the daughter of Alistair Evans, was his mate. He rejected her, and she was never heard from again.
6 years later, she’s back in town teaching an intro to law to class with Dylan as one of her students.
This development, coupled with a new threat looming over Dylan’s pack leads to an unlikely partnership amongst the two.
But can it lead to more? Especially now that his pack elders are forcing him to finally choose a mate and respectable Luna.
Alyssa had always done things according to what her father wanted.
She studied hard and consistently fell amongst the category of ‘gifted students’, dated the boy he wanted her too and even got into law school for his approval.
But what she didn’t see until it was too late was that her father was a monster.
She’s finally come to terms with her own tortured past and is trying to heal from her childhood trauma.
She never wanted Dylan as a mate. He was too young and it disgusted her that the moon goddess gave her a mate four years younger than her.
It must have been a mistake made by the moon goddess. But six years later and she can’t seem to take her eyes off of him.
* * *
She never wanted to be his Luna…until she did.
He never wanted to be an alpha....until he did.
Sometimes all two people need is time to finally grow into who they are meant to be for each other.
*Warning: please do not read if you are not comfortable with issues like p********a and victims of child molestation.
This is a huge part of the book since Alyssa was a victim and I focus on how she confronted and healed from her trauma.
