Scammers target every one so don't be surprised if you find yourself with someone on the phone trying to scam you.
So how do you recognize a scam?
The First warning sign is an unknown number, but a lot of times it could be your friends or family members changing the phone number. To add to the suspicion if you receive a text from an unknown number with a link, do not click int unless you are expecting someone to send you a link from an unknown number.
There are a few apps out there that will help you protect yourself. Most Xiaomi phones have an installed feature that auto blocks some scams.
